The collection includes about 60 famous swords, featuring national treasure materials such as the Small Sword with Enamel Fittings of Ritualistic Armament Preparation (Shippō Kotachi Ongoshirae), important cultural properties, preserved swords, swords with special preservation status, and other exceptionally valuable pieces.

The collection also features armor (yoroi), sword guards (tsuba), a lord's palanquin (otoko-norimono), matchlock guns, meteorites, and more.
